Just after noon on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 Cody was riding his bicycle northbound on Market Street when he was struck by a northbound truck turning right (eastbound) onto 5th Street. Cody was 23 years old.
Cody's ghost bike went missing sometime after February, 2020. A replacement will be installed.
The intersection of 5th and Market Street is particularly dangerous. Susan Watson was also killed here. Both were killed by trucks.
