James Brown was tragically killed while bicycling after being struck by two vehicles on 105th Avenue in Oakland. Both of the drivers fled the scene. According to video surveillance, the second driver stopped to remove part of James’ damaged bicycle from underneath the car before driving off again. James was found with his bicycle in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.

James was just 51 years old. He left behind a loving family who deeply mourn his loss. May he rest in peace.
